clash of the clans @ Mist

what started out as a night organised with my cousins to celebrate elaine's soon-to-be wedding, eventually became a night of the two clans - my cousins and alvin's.

thinking that my clan would be the milder bunch turned out to be completely wrong. i guess alcohol really brings out a different side in people. paul soong and paul kheng were throwing funky dance moves i couldn't even keep up with!

i shall put the clan name in brackets so as to make it easier - regardless whether or not that's their actual last name.

brian (lim), michael (lim) & me (song)

me & my stepmum

eu jin (clanless) & alvin (lim)

siew nam & the song clan (l-r) : elaine, paul, stepmum, me, paul ling, pauline, cam, paul kheng, rebecca & patrick

i realised... i'm sadly the only one in the family that can't drink. it only takes a few glasses to send me flying and a couple more to knock me out. =p

i'm cheap like that.

five bottles of whisky and a bottle of red wine later, i was nicely bidding goodbye to all my cousins as they made a move, happy to stay and dance.

"bye! bye! bye!"

shortly after, alvin pulled me along.
"eh. we're leaving."
"huh? what do you mean? but, the club's not closed yet! what about all the alcohol?"
"the alcohol's finished!!" -_-
"oh. really?"

quite the embarassings.

so we followed my cousins to the mamak. the cousins i had been nicely saying my goodbyes to.

the lim clan's performance was highly disappointing. perhaps our numbers may have been slightly intimidating. or perhaps they were still recovering from christmas.

we took heaps and heaps of photos. i'm too lazy to upload that many, so if you wanna see the rest, they're on FB. =)

Nope, not many at all. Your clan's HUGE though. Haha. And so many yuppies. Mine's... scattered. In terms of age and location. Bleh.

hahahaha. that's just half of us. ;) for all you know, we could be distantly related.

how'd u stumble upon this blog btw?

Whoa. That's scary then. Haha. If my Song clan, by some ironic clash of fate, ever finds itself up against your Song clan, mine sure kalah kau kau. Haha.

I guess the best way to find out if we're related is if we use famous peeps. You related to Soong Ai Ling in any way? Or Luke Song who was formerly from IMU?

Found this blog through Timothy Chan, I think. Not sure anymore. Haha. You've been on my GoogleReader for awhile now so I no longer remember the link. =p
